Candle Bar: $25 (includes 8.5oz candle to take home)

Walk-in's welcome!  Stop by 314 Main St., Milford, OH 45150 and make a candle at any time!  Candle bar fee is $25 and you'll get to take home a handmade 8.5oz candle. There are 4 spots at the candle bar, first come first serve, no reservations. 

Please give yourself about an hour to enjoy the process.  Candles will take about 1.5 hours to set.  You can either walk around Old Milford while you wait, or you can come by at a later date to pick up your candle!

Candle Bar will serve its last customers approximately 1 hour before closing time each day.

Terms of Service and Consent Waiver

During the candle-making and or soap making experience, you will be learning in a professional candle-making environment with professional equipment such as wax melters. The use of this equipment is monitored at all times and proper safety methods are taught without fail.

Serenity by Kasey reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during candle-making events, soap making events, candle-making bar, workshops, and other events used for publicity materials and social media. Registration in candle-making & soap making events gives Serenity by Kasey permission to use those images without further consent or compensation.

Participation in candle-making events, soap making events, and other events/products is solely at the risk and liability of the individual and/or the parent or legal guardian enrolling the child.

Due to the potentially dangerous nature of hot wax melters, dyes, fragrance oil, hot wax, & hot soap, it is the responsibility of the registering individual and/or parent or guardian to ensure the proper placement of the individual and/or child about the individual and/or child’s skill level. Serenity by Kasey and its employees cannot accept liability for any injury or damages that you or your child may suffer related to the premises of the event or participation in activities sponsored by Serenity by Kasey. This includes but is not limited to slips and falls on the premises. Every effort will be made by Serenity by Kasey and its employees to ensure the safety of you and/or your child while on the premises.

Waiver, Release, and Indemnity

Waiver & Release: In consideration of being permitted to participate in a candle-making class, soap making class, or candle-making bar (the "Class") offered by Serenity by Kasey (the “Company”), I, for and on behalf of myself, my heirs, and personal representatives and all persons claiming by or through me, hereby release, waive and discharge the Company and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from all existing and future claims and/or causes of action arising from, or relating to, the Class, my presence on the Company’s premises (the “Premises”) or my use of the Company’s tools, equipment or facilities (the “Equipment”), including, without limitation, injury, illness, death, or property loss, regardless of whether arising, in whole or part, from the action or inaction of any Released Parties.

Assumption of Risks: The Company may, but is not obligated to, permit the consumption of alcoholic beverages on Premises. I understand that participation in both candle-making / soap making and drinking alcohol carries certain known and unknown risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. I acknowledge that I am aware and voluntarily expose myself to risks inherent in candle making or soap making, including, and not limited to, physical and emotional injury or death resulting from serious burns/scalding and other heat-related injuries; slippery surfaces; lacerations; allergic reactions; and eye injuries. I further acknowledge that if I choose to consume alcohol on the Premises, I am aware of and voluntarily expose myself to many risks of alcohol consumption, and the risk that alcohol consumption might exacerbate the risks inherent in candle making and/or soap making. I hereby knowingly assume full and sole responsibility for all of the foregoing risks and acknowledge that my participation in the Class is fully voluntary.

Indemnification & Hold Harmless: I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all existing and future claims, actions, suites, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs) brought, asserted, incurred or arising from or as a result of my participation in the Class, my presence on the Premises or my use of the Equipment.

Policies & Procedures:  I understand that the Company may impose certain policies and procedures in connection with the Class, including without limitation the right to exclude intoxicated parties from the Premises or participation in the Class. I agree to abide by any such policies and procedures and understand that if I violate them, I may be asked to leave the premises without refunding any fees or other costs I may have incurred in connection with the Class.

Use of Likeness: I hereby grant to the Company the right to use my likeness and recorded actions during my participation in the Class, without charge, in the Company’s marketing and promotional materials.

Minors: I understand that I cannot bring any children under the age 10 to the Premises during the Class and that all Class participants must be at least 10 years old. I will ensure that 1 adult will remain present on the Premises during the entire Class for every 8 Class participants ages 10-14. I understand that each Class participant who is under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian sign this waiver on behalf of the Class participant. No alcohol will be served or may be consumed on the Premises by any person who does not present a valid ID indicating such person is at least age 21. Ohio law maintains that a person must be 21 and up to consume alcohol.

Chargeback: All references to a “chargeback” refer to a reversal of a credit or debit card charge placed on the Sites and/or at the Services initiated by You. There is no reason for a chargeback to ever be filed. If you feel that your credit or debit card was used fraudulently on the Sites or at the Services, Please contact the Company for immediate resolution. You agree that you will not Chargeback any amounts charged to your credit or debit card on the Sites or at the Services. If you Chargeback a credit or debit card charge for a payment initiated by you or any authorized user of the credit or debit card, you agree that the Company may recover the amount of the chargeback in addition to fees by any means deemed necessary, including, but not limited to, recharging your credit or debit card or having the amount recovered by a collection agency.

Booking & Cancellation Policy – Non-Refundable Payment

By booking a candle-making or soap making class at Serenity by Kasey, you agree to the following terms:

Non-Refundable Payment: A non-refundable payment is required prior to the class to secure your reservation.

Event Rescheduling Policy: 

Private Parties (10+ Guests): Must notify us at least 7 days before the scheduled event to request a reschedule. Reschedules are allowed once and must be completed within 45 days of the original event date, subject to availability.

Parties of 5–9 Guests: Must notify us at least 72 hours before the event to request a reschedule. Reschedules are allowed once and must be completed within 30 days of the original event date, subject to availability.

Missed Events & Late Reschedule Requests: Failure to attend your event or request a reschedule within the specified timeframe will result in no refund.

Late Arrivals: Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be able to participate, and the payment will be forfeited. Please arrive on time to ensure you enjoy the full experience.

No Refunds: Payments are non-refundable for any reason, including cancellations, late arrivals, and no-shows.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.

Severability: In the event that any court of competent jurisdiction shall declare any part of this agreement provided to be invalid, prohibited, or unenforceable, the remaining portions of this agreement shall remain enforceable. To the fullest extent allowed by the law, any invalid, unenforceable or prohibited portion of this agreement shall be modified by a court of law so as to allow the same to be interpreted in such manner so as to be enforceable.

Candle Care Acknowledgment: Burn 4 hours at a time & away from flammable materials. To prevent smoking & soot buildup, keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4'”. Keep out of drafts & away from children & pets. Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot. Discontinue use when only ¼” of wax remains. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all rights and claims against Serenity by Kasey and staff for damages for personal injury, personal property, death, or permanent total disability, which I may have or which may hereafter occur as a result of participation at Serenity by Kasey. This waiver is intended to discharge in advance Serenity by Kasey, LLC from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with any part of the entireties of Serenity by Kasey, LLC. I understand that there are certain risks and hazards involving participation at Serenity by Kasey, LLC candle-making and soap making. Each participant will be engaging in activities that involve the risk of potential injury, which might result not only from their actions, inactions, or negligence, but the action, inaction, or negligence of others, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time Serenity by Kasey, LLC is not responsible for any accidents or incidents even those involving overconsumption of alcohol or burns or slips and falls. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

I do hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all rights and claims against Serenity by Kasey, LLC, Inc. for damages for personal injury, death, or property damage that I may incur as a result of participation. I acknowledge that I have read and that I understand the above provisions in this waiver and consent of liability and agree to abide by them and sign of my own free will.

I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against Serenity by Kasey, LLC, its owners, and the class/workshop Sponsor, for any injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program. I also acknowledge I have read the candle care instructions.
